The faction system has collapsed, and Four (Theo James) and his mother Evelyn (Naomi Watts) has become the ruler of the world inside the wall. She uses a strong and strict armed force to control the residents within the wall, not allowing them to cross the line. However, Tris (Shailene Woodley) and Four do not believe in this oppression; they firmly believe that the future and hope belong to the world outside the wall. Thus, the two lead Christina (Zoe Kravitz), Peter (Miles Teller), and Tori (Maggie Q) to break through the encirclement and finally reach the other side of the high wall. On that side, the Bureau of Genetic Welfare shelters Tris and her group. On the surface, the Bureau seems to be the righteous side, but in reality, its leader David (Jeff Daniels) harbors great ambitions and hides a shocking secret.
