The final chapter of Eric Rohmer's "Four Seasons." Magali (Béatrice Romand) is a single woman of a certain age, with a son and a vineyard, living a self-sufficient life. Isabelle (Marie Rivière) is concerned about Magali's future, not wanting her close friend to spend her old age alone. Isabelle secretly places a personal ad in the paper in Magali's name, not realizing that the respondent, Gérard (Alain Libolt), is exactly her type, creating an awkward situation for both friends. 　　Loïs (Alexia Portal) is Magali's son's girlfriend, but she actually prefers being with the older Magali. Loïs also wants to help Magali find love, but her plan involves introducing Magali to her ex-boyfriend, an older philosophy professor, who still harbors feelings for Loïs.
