The beautiful and indifferent woman Ling (played by Honoka) runs the Hazuki Funeral Home alone; her husband has died for reasons unknown, leaving her heart as if it has perished as well. However, although she claims to have seen through life and death, she still feels panic on stormy nights and anxiety in the face of desire. She is an object of desire for men, a femme fatale who flaunts her allure, and an existence that nobody can fully understand. A jobless youth named Daiki (played by Ryosuke Uchida) arrives at the Hazuki Funeral Home in response to a job advertisement. As he collaborates with Ling, he gradually finds himself attracted to her and finally touches the delicate, easily hurt heart that few others have ever reached.
