Asako (played by Aya Ueto) lives in an incomplete family. At seventeen, she has long lost her fantasies and hopes for the future, and she feels disgusted with school. One night, while her family is asleep, Asako throws all the belongings in her room into the trash, and she decides not to attend school anymore.
