Three college students go to a cabin in the mountains for a vacation but lose contact. The police find their abandoned camera by the creek and turn it into a crucial videotape, trying to find clues in the footage to locate the three. The footage shows the students arriving in the wilderness and discovering a blood-stained dress belonging to an 8-year-old girl. Then, images of the missing girl begin to appear, including charred hair and even more chilling footage, as a simple missing persons case quickly escalates into a serial murder investigation... The police work tirelessly to piece together the clues from the footage, hoping to still have a chance to rescue them...
