Tokyo has always been a paradise for car modification enthusiasts, with its complex and narrow streets becoming their battlegrounds of passion and speed. Due to the extreme curves of Tokyo's roads, competing on such routes with pure speed alone cannot guarantee victory. Thus, street racing in Tokyo has transformed into a competition of drifting skills. The male lead, Sean (played by Lucas Black), is destined to be a failure; he has no friends at school and the only outlet for his frustrations is street racing. After being wanted by the police for illegal racing, he must flee the United States to live with his father in Tokyo, who is serving in the military. However, his father's authoritarian nature makes Sean feel out of place, and he continues to indulge in street racing daily. The high level of drifting skills in Tokyo captivates Sean, and he meets "Drift King" DK (played by Brian Tee). Entangled with a Japanese crime syndicate, Sean is forced to race again to atone for his past mistakes, with his life on the line this time. A wild Tokyo showdown begins…
