After a tremendous struggle to defeat Mysterio, Spider-Man Peter Parker (Tom Holland) is outed by the dying Mysterio. Subsequently, the mainstream media heavily criticizes the behavior of superheroes abusing their powers, causing countless troubles for ordinary civilians, leaving Peter's life in disarray and affecting MJ (Zendaya) and his best friend Ned (Jacob Batalon). Troubled, Peter turns to Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), hoping he can cast a spell to make everyone forget his true identity. However, the spell goes awry, bringing people from other universes who know Peter Parker, including Doctor Octopus, Green Goblin, Sandman, and other foes of Spider-Man.
