In the near future, corporate power and environmental decline are ravaging the Earth. Hen (Saoirse Ronan) and Junior (Paul Mescal) are a young couple, married for seven years, living a solitary life on their isolated farm. One night, a stranger named Terrance (Aaron Pierre) knocks on their door, bringing news that throws their lives into chaos. Junior is randomly selected to go to a massive experimental space station orbiting the Earth. The strangest part? Everything is arranged for after Junior leaves.
