Bertrand (Philippe Beuzen) and Guillaume (Christian Charrière) are classmates at a Paris medical school. The former is a hardworking poor student, while the latter is a wealthy young man whose parents are rarely at home, leaving him a mansion to enjoy. They encounter a girl named Suzanne (Catherine Sée) at a coffee shop, and both of them develop feelings for her.
