Youth is like a heavy rain. Even if you catch a cold, you still wish to go back and feel it again. Life is a continuous battle; until you have caught the goddess's favor, your left hand will always be just an assistant!!! Ke Jing-teng (played by Kai Ko) and his group of friends, including the showy but unlucky in love Lao Cao (played by Aowen), who can’t stop his desire so he’s called Erect (played by Yan Shengyu), the one who tries to win with humor but always fails, Ge Bian (played by Cai Changxian), and the love-hunting expert Ah He (played by She Shaowen), have been inseparable pals since middle school. They all have a complicated affection for the class beauty Shen Jia-yi (played by Michelle Chen). On one hand, they look down on a girl who only knows how to study hard; on the other hand, they are captivated by her wonderful temperament. Due to his poor grades, Ke Jing-teng is assigned to sit in front of Shen Jia-yi by the teacher. After his heroic act of saving her, she starts to forcefully help him with his studies. This makes the other brothers envious and jealous, but they all keep quiet about it. After graduation, Ke Jing-teng and Shen Jia-yi maintain a lover-like relationship while attending different universities. Everything changes when he organizes a free fighting competition... This series of events prompts his once passive friends to also join the battle for the goddess! But true friendship is precious, youth is even more valuable. If it’s for the goddess, can you let go of both?! This film is adapted from the autobiographical novel by director and screenwriter Giddens Ko in 2007. Kai Ko won the Best New Actor award at the 48th Golden Horse Awards for this film.
