1 Pop Art (POP) literally means popular art. Its meaning is actually similar to that of popular music/culture. 2 This film interviews a bunch of godfather-level figures in POP, which other art movement documentaries have never done. 3 POP used a colloquial expression to dismantle seemingly elegant abstract modern art. The former gained acceptance from the public, while the latter is often just incomprehensible expressions for individuals. 4 POP is formally similar to marketing and promotion, but essentially uses the same means for counter-propaganda and anti-promotion. 5 The climax of POP was in 1950s New York, while the hotspots in the 21st century, and even representative figures, are in China.
