"High-Speed! The Return of the Samurai Exemption" is a sequel to the popular film "High-Speed! The Samurai Exemption," which was released in 2014 and won the Japanese Blue Ribbon Award. The story is set during the Edo period under the rule of Shogun Tokugawa Yoshimune. The first film follows Naito Masamitsu, played by Sasaki Kuranosuke, who receives a daunting task and overcomes all difficulties to complete it. The sequel tells the story of Naito on his journey back home after completing the task.
