After the death of her mother, Yue Huiying (played by Zhang Aijia) is determined to move her father’s grave, which is far away in the countryside, back to the city to be buried alongside her mother. This wish leads to a significant conflict between her and her father’s original wife, her grandmother (played by Wu Yanshu). The issue of relocating the grave becomes a knot in Huiying's heart, causing a rift in her relationship with her husband, Xiao Ping (played by Tian Zhuangzhuang). Huiying's daughter, Weiwei (played by Lang Yueting), a reporter at a television station, intrigued by her grandmother's past, brings this "family conflict" to the media, showcasing it to the public. Although her intentions are good, the whole situation escalates into a farce. Meanwhile, Weiwei's relationship with her boyfriend, Ada (played by Song Ningfeng), faces a crisis of trust due to the appearance of Ada's childhood sweetheart, which leads her to feel an inexplicable closeness to her grandmother, who has lived a lonely life waiting for her father.
