The film is divided into four short stories, each featuring a young man named Jin-kyu (played by Lee Sun-kyun), a woman named Yuxi (played by Jung Yu-mi), and a middle-aged man named Professor Song (played by Moon Sung-keun). Jin-kyu teaches film courses at a university and is an obscure director. His married life is unhappy, to the extent that he would rather brave the cold wind on the street than go home to face his fierce wife. During an audience Q&A session, a woman asks him a question he cannot answer; Jin-kyu studied film at a film academy, but for him, his entire life is not about films—it's about a girl named Yuxi. After long persistent efforts, he finally begins to date Yuxi, but he does not know that Yuxi's heart is not with him; struggling to make a living, Professor Song has to take on a part-time teaching job at the school, but no students are willing to attend his class, except for a girl named Yuxi and a boy named Jin-kyu; Yuxi shoots a short film documenting the actions of herself, Jin-kyu, and Professor Song visiting the same place at different times.
