On the surface, Rei (played by Shinohara Ryoko) appears to be an ordinary middle-aged woman, but deep down, she harbors a secret known only to herself. Rei's brain seems to have malfunctioned, and from one certain day, a variety of voices began to echo within her—curses, arguments, idle chatter—constantly bombarding her with negative energy, driving her mental state to the brink of collapse. Gradually losing her appetite, libido, and even sleep, Rei realizes the severity of her situation, but repeated failures in her attempts to address the issue plunge her into deep despair. By chance, while buying alcohol at a convenience store, Rei meets a stranger who is a long-distance truck driver (played by Omori Nao), and voices in her head guide her to follow this man. Despite not understanding the reasons behind it, Rei unhesitatingly embarks on a journey with the stranger.
