The graffiti-cleaning Haru (played by Masaki Okada) inadvertently discovers multiple pieces of graffiti that are intricately connected to a series of arson cases that have recently occurred in Sendai, always appearing near the sites of the arson. Sensing there is something hidden behind this, Haru consults his brother Izumi (played by Ryo Kase), and the two of them start tracking this series of arson cases as secret detectives. Meanwhile, a criminal (played by Atsurou Watanabe) from a case 24 years ago is released after serving their sentence. What seems to be two unrelated cases is tightly intertwined beneath the surface. As the investigation deepens, the secrets that have been covered up come to light, some shocking and some hard to accept. What is the ultimate truth, and will the two brothers be able to resolve the crisis? Everything remains unknown...This film is adapted from the novel of the same name by Kohta Ibisaka, marking the sixth time his work has been brought to the screen.
