Rinko Kikuchi will play a wife for the first time alongside TOKIO member Takuya Nagase. They will star in the special drama "Miho's Dimple" airing on Nippon TV's "24-Hour TV 33" (August 28-29). "Miho's Dimple" tells the story of a 13-year-old girl who passed away due to a brain tumor and her family's fight against the illness. The original work of "Miho's Dimple" is a book of the same name. Miho was diagnosed with leukemia in her childhood and later with a malignant brain tumor during middle school. Her mother documented Miho's life fighting against the illness and included Miho's hand-drawn letters in the book. On the day of her first-year middle school entrance ceremony, Miho suddenly had a headache and was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor after an examination. Her mother, Riko (played by Rinko Kikuchi), and her father, Tomo (played by Takuya Nagase), were nearly in despair. After receiving drawing tools from her father, Miho began to draw every day in her hospital bed, gradually attracting attention from those around her… Mayuko Fukuda plays Miho's older sister, and Misako Tanaka plays Miho's attending physician.
