Flick is not very popular in Ant Kingdom, despite inventing an advanced harvester. However, through a twist of fate, he causes a major disaster, leading to his little sister, Princess Dot, being captured by the enemy grasshoppers, and the ant food supply is also threatened by them. Even though Flick saves Dot, he is still exiled from Ant Kingdom. Only by finding a way to deal with the grasshoppers in the outside world can he hope to return home. Flick encounters a troop of insects from a circus in the city. Reptiles, butterflies, ladybugs, and stink bugs all seem to possess unique skills, which excites Flick. He invites them back to Ant Kingdom to combat the grasshoppers. A fierce battle is about to begin, and the insects grow braver as they join Flick in the fight. The clever and brave Flick finally returns to Ant Kingdom and receives admiration from everyone.
