An animated film adapted from the highly popular webcomic "The Crocodile Who Died After 100 Days" is scheduled to be released in Japan on May 28. Directed by Shinichirō Ueda of "One Cut of the Dead" fame and his wife Miyuki Fukuda, the film features voice acting by Ryunosuke Kamiki as the crocodile, alongside Ryuhei Matsuda, Subaru Kimura, and Yuko Araki. On December 12, 2019, manga artist Yuki Kikuchi began posting a series of comics on Twitter, documenting the countdown of an ordinary crocodile's 100-day life, sparking ongoing popularity.
