Former engineer Scott (played by Paul Rudd) went to prison for robbing the rich to help the poor. After his release, he returned to a life of theft to regain the right to see his daughter. Unexpectedly, a chance burglary turned him into the new generation "Ant-Man," with the old Ant-Man, Dr. Hank Pym (played by Michael Douglas), as his mentor. However, Pym's daughter, Hope (played by Evangeline Lilly), does not have much faith in him. With a crisis looming, Scott must call upon his group of friends to help him accomplish an impossible task to fight a powerful enemy and save the world. Success in this mission is also key for Scott to win back his daughter. Can the underdog make a comeback with the final blow?
