Young Mike Wazowski (voiced by Billy Crystal), who has long dreamed of becoming a scare officer, finally fulfills his wish by being accepted into the Scare School at Monsters University, known for producing countless legendary figures. For this charming little monster, who exudes no sense of terror whatsoever, studying hard seems to be the only way to achieve his dream. In contrast, his classmate James Sullivan (voiced by John Goodman), from a prestigious lineage of scares, naturally becomes the center of attention among his peers and behaves like a carefree rich kid.
