Gray (played by Philippe Lacheau) is the founder of "excuse.com", a company that creates all kinds of excuses and lies for clients who need a "cover." Due to its unique nature and high demand, the company is thriving. By chance, Gray encounters a woman named Flo (played by Élodie Fontan), whose innocence and simplicity deeply attract him, leading him to fall in love. Gray firmly believes she is the other half he has been destined to find. However, what troubles Gray is that Flo is a person with zero tolerance for "lying"; if he reveals his true identity to her, she will certainly leave in anger. Left with no choice, Gray has to heavily disguise himself with lies. Under this hypocritical mask, Gray finally gets together with Flo, but when he goes to visit Flo’s house, he discovers that her father is actually his client.
