In a corner of Kabukicho, the Odd Jobs office is run by Sakata Gintoki (Shun Oguri), Shimpachi Shimura (Masaki Suda), and Kagura (Kanna Hashimoto), who are struggling to pay their rent. As a result, the three are forced to look for jobs. They first work as waitresses at a nightclub, and then temporarily as barbers. Unfortunately, they encounter the secretly visiting Shogun Tokugawa Shige Shige (Ryo Katsuji), which makes them extremely nervous and on edge. Meanwhile, Hijikata Toushirou (Yuuya Yagira) of the Shinsengumi is ambushed by Ito Kamotarou (Haruma Miura), transforming from a tough and resolute samurai into a weak and timid otaku, eventually getting expelled from the Shinsengumi. After this, Ito joins forces with the Oniwabanshu to plot a grand conspiracy that could overturn the Edo government...
