Jane (played by Katherine Heigl) is the perfect bridesmaid, having worn 27 bridesmaid dresses. She believes in true love, but when it comes to her long-time crush—her boss George, Jane always finds it hard to express her feelings. At a party, Jane's sister Tess encounters George, and the bold and flamboyant Tess quickly catches George's attention. In reality, Tess is a spoiled and arrogant young lady, but to win George's heart, she concocts various lies, pretending to be a sweet and demure girl, causing their relationship to heat up quickly.
