The film tells the story of Sing Jai (played by Cheung Kin-sing), Fat Chiu (played by Fat Cheung), and Eric (played by Kwok Wai-leung), who start their own business designing new technology products for sale. Unexpectedly, they are suddenly robbed of their inventions by a cunning investor from a listed company, Kong Tung-lam (played by Ho Wah-chiu), leaving them bankrupt. Their entrepreneurial dreams are severely undermined, leading to enormous debts. By chance, they encounter Kong Tung-lam's wife, Cheryl (played by Wu Yong-wei), at a nightclub, and the four of them get drunk. The next day, they wake up to find Cheryl bound and gagged in bed, and the three decide to continue their mistake by kidnapping her, demanding a ransom from Kong Tung-lam, or they will kill her. However, Kong Tung-lam shows no concern for his wife's well-being and is caught fooling around with his mistress. So the three kidnap his mistress, Mimi (played by Chan Yuen-hang), his daughter, Jenny (played by Yu Heung-wing), and his mother-in-law (played by Wong Man-wai), thinking it will force him to pay the ransom. But Kong Tung-lam remains indifferent, even reporting to the police and notifying the media to provoke them into killing her. The three, who are actually kind-hearted, never intended to kill anyone; they care for the four women instead. As the kidnapped women gradually develop "Stockholm syndrome," they create a strange bond with their captors, with Sing Jai and Jenny developing feelings for each other, and the dementia-stricken mother-in-law seeing Sing Jai as her son, while Mimi seduces Fat Chiu... It turns out that Kong Tung-lam is utterly heartless, treating not only his wife, mistress, and daughter poorly but also being unfilial to his mother-in-law, who has long since planned to escape his grasp and does not want to return to him. The four women decide to take advantage of the situation to extort a sum from Kong Tung-lam. Sing Jai, feeling that this path is futile, wishes to give up, but it is now the four women who put Sing Jai, Ching, and Fat Chiu "on the table," so the seven of them unite to confront Kong Tung-lam...
