Nearly forty and an unremarkable ordinary company employee (workaholic) Sasaki is influenced by a colleague who has a pet and decides to get one himself. Unexpectedly, he meets and buys the little bird Bipi at a pet store. In reality, Bipi is a reincarnated sage from another world and possesses the special ability to communicate with humans. Thus, Sasaki and Bipi begin a new story that travels between the alternate world and the real world.
