This story revolves around "Wife." Shie (played by Yui Natsukawa), as a housewife, lives with her husband Yukinori (played by Masahiko Nishimura), their two sons, and her in-laws. One afternoon, the house is robbed, and the hidden money in the refrigerator is stolen. Amidst her husband's complaints, Shie decides to leave home, throwing the Hirata household into chaos.
