During his student days, Sumiya Noboru (played by Ueno Seiyo) stood out as an excellent American football player, but after retiring due to injury, he became an ordinary salaryman in a Tokyo company. The boring and frustrating workplace interactions and the lukewarm relationship with his girlfriend left him feeling distressed. After that, he adopted the nickname "Haru" and logged onto a movie message board seeking like-minded individuals.
