In the bustling metropolis of Tokyo, Japan, the annual April Fool's Day arrives. Hospital janitor Ayumu Nitta (Erika Toda) with a communication barrier musters the courage to call surgeon Wataru Makino (Tori Matsuzaka) to announce her pregnancy. Unexpectedly, he flatly denies any connection to the child, treating it as a cruel joke, and continues to flirt with others. In anger, Nitta storms into the Italian restaurant where Makino is, resulting in a chaotic scene. Meanwhile, a couple claiming to be royalty, the Sakurada couple (Koutarou Satou & Junko Fujita), are touring Tokyo with a taxi driver (Kenichi Sato), enjoying their rare time together. On another street, gang leader Yuji Udagawa (Shin Terajima) kidnaps elementary school student Rika Edo (Minami Hamabe) without rushing for ransom. At the police station, Detective Ono (Masatoshi Takashima) engages with a mysterious fortune-teller (Riri) to resolve issues. In the span of a brief day, many people's fates undergo drastic changes…
