Charlie's ex-wife has gone missing, so he travels to the rural town in the West where she grew up to search for her. Surprisingly, no one knows her or her relatives' whereabouts. Then he encounters aliens, but when he contacts the FBI, no one believes him. He has to take his story to the papers, and soon finds himself being chased by aliens.
