On an ordinary morning in Seoul, South Korea, the host of the radio show Daily Topic, Yoon Young-hwa (played by Ha Jung-woo), is on a call discussing tax reform with listeners when a man identifying himself as an ordinary worker living in Changsin-dong, Park Ro-kye, calls in to complain about the excessively high electricity bills and threats from the relevant departments. Yoon Young-hwa, somewhat impatient, cuts him off, citing the deviation from the topic. However, the call cannot be unilaterally terminated by the radio station, and an angry Park Ro-kye continues to vent his frustrations, even threatening to blow up the Han River Bridge. Yoon Young-hwa dismisses him and provocatively suggests that if he wants to do it, he should go ahead. Just as he finishes speaking, the Mapo Bridge outside explodes into ruins.
