The world-renowned "富甲山水图" has each half collected in the Palace Museum in Mainland China and Taiwan, and this is the first time they are exhibited together at the National Palace Museum in Taipei. International thieves from around the world have come upon hearing the news. An international treasure-hunting group from across the ocean sends two beautiful female thieves disguised as security personnel to infiltrate the Palace Museum and steal the painting. Just as the thieves are about to succeed, they run into a young security guard named Xiao Jie (played by 房祖名), leading to a fierce struggle between the two sides. Just when the competent Xiao Jie has the upper hand to capture the thieves, a mainland tourist visiting the museum "heroically saves the beauty" and instead immobilizes Xiao Jie while letting the beautiful thief escape. When Xiao Jie, now dressed in casual clothes, finally convinces them that he is a security guard and that the beauty is the thief, the tourist realizes it's too late. This tourist, named Da Hai (played by 夏雨), is actually a community security guard from Beijing. At the same time, an even more "ridiculous" thing happens: Xiao Jie is mistakenly identified by the security headquarters as an insider of the theft group, while Da Hai discovers that the travel group's bus has already left, meaning he has "lost the group." Xiao Jie must not only evade the police's pursuit but also personally retrieve the painting to prove his innocence; the aimless Da Hai has also been "turned into" Xiao Jie's "accomplice" and needs to find his travel group to prove his identity. Thus, two "losers" from both sides of the Taiwan Strait embark on a journey of "fleeing for their lives" on Treasure Island...
