The story takes place in a small detective agency, run by a man named Kang Tae-sik (played by Hyo-jin). Once a prominent figure in the police force, Kang Tae-sik is now adept at being a private investigator. One day, he accepts a commission to investigate a cheating scandal, but this seemingly ordinary case completely shatters Kang Tae-sik's peaceful life. Upon arriving at the scene, he expects to find an erotic situation, but instead, he encounters a dead woman's body, and the ensuing chaos makes him realize he has fallen into a trap set by someone. Kang Tae-sik receives a mysterious phone call, with the caller informing him that if he wishes to regain his innocence, he must follow his instructions. Every move Kang Tae-sik makes is under the watchful eyes of this mysterious figure. In a bid for freedom and to uncover the truth behind the incident, Kang Tae-sik's great escape begins.
