Chen Liping (played by Chung Chen-tau), a shy rich kid living in Hawaii, has always struggled in love and therefore invites an old friend from Hong Kong, Luo Dantuo (played by Chan Baixiang), to guide him. The two encounter beautiful women Xiao Mao (played by Maggie Cheung) and A Mei (played by Cheung Chor-hung) at the beach, trying to strike up a conversation but failing. Chen's father orders him to go to Hong Kong to investigate the accounts of a subsidiary company, but unexpectedly, Chen and Luo discover that Xiao Mao and A Mei are actually employees of the Chen family business. To investigate the accounts and get closer to A Mei, Chen Liping swaps identities with Luo Dantuo. Luo Dantuo gets close to the manager's secretary, Xiao Mao, and pretends to collaborate with the corrupt manager Chen Pihao (played by Chao Charlie). Meanwhile, Chen Liping, acting as a driver, gradually earns A Mei's trust and admiration. Worried about the corruption being exposed, Chen Pihao hires the love con artist Yuan Piaopiao (played by Kwan Ching-lam) to trick Chen Liping into falling for her…
