Tom (Romain Duris) inherits his father's underground real estate business. To drive away the stubborn residents, he comes up with various twisted ideas: releasing rats to create a rat infestation, cutting off water and electricity to force people out, destroying property with a baseball bat, injuring unrelated individuals... Meanwhile, he also has to help his father resolve various troubles. While using these thug tactics, he feels no compassion at all. One night, Tom suddenly discovers that life can go in a different direction. He coincidentally meets the agent of his deceased pianist mother, which reminds him of the beautiful times spent practicing piano in his childhood, a wonderful period destroyed by reality.
