19-year-old girl Kim (played by Felicity Jones) loves skateboarding and was a former skateboarding champion. However, after a tragic accident, her mother passes away, and Kim is forced to give up skateboarding to help her father make ends meet. By chance, Kim's friend introduces her to a job at a ski resort in the Alps, as a previous employee has broken their leg. Kim reluctantly agrees. Having never encountered skiing before, Kim feels out of place, and to pass the time, she starts self-learning skateboarding outside. Miki (played by Ken Duken) sees her and offers to teach her skiing, discovering her incredible talent. He recommends her for competitions, and Kim lives up to expectations by winning the championship and prize money. Just when everyone thinks Kim will excel in skiing, she realizes that every time she jumps, she remembers her mother's accident, which becomes a mental barrier. Her budding romance with Johnny (played by Ed Westwick) is also met with strong opposition from his mother. Overwhelmed by troubles, Kim contemplates returning home, but at that moment, her father encourages her to stay and give competition another shot, reminding her of her late mother's wishes. Can Kim overcome these obstacles in the competition and find herself?
