After losing his wife, Ik, in his grief, begins to contemplate the meaning of his life and ultimately chooses to give up the treasure he has pursued for many years. Eight years later, a clue related to the treasure of Charlemagne leaves Ik restless, and the adventurer's blood within him begins to stir. Just as Ik and his assistant set out on the treasure-hunting path again, the wealthy tycoon Roland (played by Hark Bohm) and Ik's long-time rival André (played by Stephan Kampwirth) also become interested in the invaluable treasure. An intense and thrilling battle for the treasure is about to unfold.
