In the remote area of Shinagawa, there is an unpopular host club called "Akihime." On this day, the manager (played by Tsutomu Yamazaki) is deeply troubled by the departure of the top host, while Naoto (played by Shohei Miura), who has always been at the bottom, bursts in shouting with excitement. Naoto, who previously incurred a debt of ten million yen, has finally struck it rich by betting on baseball. Overwhelmed with joy, he invites the manager, the current top host Aki (played by Yu Shirota), and the extremely serious Kō (played by Ryuya Wakaba) to party all night. Upon waking up, Naoto is shocked to find that his fortune has mysteriously disappeared. He asks everyone around but no one claims responsibility; the manager is busy selling the club, while Aki and others act cold and selfish. With only 12 hours left and unable to repay his debts, Naoto faces the fate of being thrown into Tokyo Bay. At this point, the debt collector Yamako (played by Rihō Yoshioka), the collector Yamazaki (played by Hirofumi Arai), and his father Goro (played by Jiro Sato) all arrive, leaving Naoto's destiny uncertain. The film is adapted from the classic works "Akihime" and "Shinagawa Shinjū" in traditional Rakugo.
