16-year-old Kurumi Ruki (played by Nana Komatsu), a student at a certain high school, has an exceptionally bright mind. Although she often ranks first in her entire grade, for some reason, she deliberately hides her emotions, making it difficult for others to see any emotional fluctuations from her poker-faced expression. Only her good friend Nami (played by Mizuki Yamamoto) from junior high can access Ruki's inner world.
