Graham Hess (played by Mel Gibson) is an ordinary farmer from a small town in Philadelphia, America. One morning, he and his family discover large, interconnected circular mysterious patterns in their cornfield. This surprises the Hess family greatly, as there are no footprints in the cornfield, making it look like the marks left by an alien spacecraft. Soon messages about mysteriously appearing patterns overnight spread worldwide, causing widespread panic and anxiety. The national media, reporters, and viewers quickly shifted their focus to this small town in the southern United States, centering on the Hess family in Bucks County. What does this mysterious crop circle, measuring over 500 feet wide, mean? Is it the result of a malicious prank, evidence of an alien visitation via UFO, or something else entirely?
