Allison (Katherine Heigl), in her early 20s, is beautiful and sexy, a promising entertainment news reporter who has recently received a small promotion from her boss. Ben Stone (Seth Rogen), aimless and disorganized in life, spends his days hanging out with friends. One night, feeling confident, Allison meets Ben at a bar, and after a night of drunken passion, they have a one-night stand.
