In 1944, the Allies have landed in Europe to launch a counter-offensive against the Nazis. Tom Hart (played by Colin Farrell), studying law at Yale, is arranged by his senator father to enlist as a lieutenant stationed at the rear. During a escort mission, Hart is unfortunately captured and sent to a concentration camp by the Nazis. In the camp, Colonel William McNamara (played by Bruce Willis), from a military family, leads the prisoners, assigning Hart, who may have betrayed Allied intelligence, to the soldiers' barracks and appoints two black pilots for Hart to care for. The atmosphere in the camp is filled with racial discrimination, and Hart must do his best to protect the black pilots from harm by their fellow soldiers. However, one pilot dies as a result of a set-up, and the other becomes embroiled in a murder case. Hart decides to defend the black pilot and declare war on discrimination in the camp…
