In the near future, a massive cosmic radiation storm sweeps across the Earth. Affected by the radiation, the corpses underground come back to life, transforming into bloodthirsty horror zombies. Amidst the blood and chaos, Earth turns into a hell on earth. After years of struggle, humanity gradually takes the initiative, mastering ways to destroy and control the zombies. Thus, a zombie company specializing in sales and rental emerges. In Willard Town, the Robinson family finally becomes the last family to own a zombie servant. The zombie named Fido carefully takes care of the pregnant Mrs. Robinson and helps 11-year-old Timmy fend off his bullying classmates. Compared to the easygoing and zombie-hating Mr. Robinson, Fido is evidently the new master of this household… The film won the Audience Award at the 2007 London - Canadian Film Festival, Best Actress at the 2007 Vancouver Film Critics Circle Awards (Carrie-Anne Moss), Best Art Direction at the 2007 Directors Guild of Canada Awards, Best Film Score and Jury Prize at the 2007 French Fantastic Film Festival, and several awards at the 2007 Leo Awards for Best Cinematography, Best Makeup, Best Score, Best Sound, and Best Visual Effects.
