Erri (played by Dennis Alexio) is a skilled boxer who, in a match against the Thai boxing champion Tong Po, becomes overconfident and suffers a devastating defeat, resulting in a disability that forces him to retire from the ring. His brother Kurt (played by Jean-Claude Van Damme) is filled with anger over his brother's misfortune and decides to avenge him against Tong Po. Kurt finds martial arts master Xian (played by Chen Guoxin) and apprentices under him to learn Muay Thai. Freddy (played by Li Jiading) is a notorious local bully whom everyone avoids. A rivalry develops between Kurt and Freddy over the beautiful girl Miley (played by Rochelle Ashana). Once Freddy discovers Kurt's identity, he sends Tong Po to face him again in the ring. Just as the match is about to begin, Kurt learns that Freddy has kidnapped Erri.
