Taro Higashi (Shota Sometani) and his sister Miyako (Erika Toda) have been away from their hometown for a long time. This time, the reason for their return is to attend their father Toshi Higashi (Masatomi Nagase)'s funeral, where they are greeted by their stepmother Akiko Higashi (Yuki Saito).
