"Crocodile Dundee" created a sensation around the world, making Australian star Paul Hogan an overnight success. The original team reunited to produce this authentic sequel. Although the director, John Cornell, was changed, the comedic style of the first installment continued, along with an added dose of adventure and action. The story describes Dundee and journalist Sue living a comfortable life in New York when suddenly Colombian drug dealers invade their world. Feeling the danger, Dundee lures a group of criminals into the Australian jungle, using his knowledge of the terrain to launch a counterattack. Paul Hogan and his son Brett Hogan co-wrote the film, incorporating many elements from the first film's successful formula. Although there is a lack of innovation, the entertainment value remains delightful.
