Based on the novel "Breakthrough" written by Hiroyuki Kurokawa, which won the 151st Naoki Prize, the story follows the loquacious yet easygoing construction consultant Kei Nishinomiya (Yuu Yokoyama) and yakuza member Yasuhiro Kuwahara (Kuranosuke Sasaki) who invest in film production, only to find themselves in trouble when the producer absconds with their funds. In pursuit of the producer who fled with the movie money, the two chase him from Japan to Macau, engaging in a cross-sea debt collection battle. During this perilous journey, they unexpectedly encounter even greater troubles, becoming entangled in a larger crisis...
