In 1960s New York, Walter Stackhouse is a successful architect. He is married to a beautiful wife, Clara, and they lead a happy life. However, he becomes obsessed with an unsolved murder case that plunges him into a complicated abyss—he is forced to play a cat-and-mouse game with a brilliant killer and an overly ambitious detective.
