Xiaogao (played by Sōta Matsumoto), who regards Okuda Tamio as his ultimate idol, becomes an editor at a fashion magazine. During a work assignment, he meets a girl named Akari (played by Kiko Mizuhara). The cute and lively Akari quickly captures Xiaogao's heart. Eventually, unable to suppress his feelings, Xiaogao confesses his love to Akari, and to his astonishment, Akari accepts his confession and becomes his girlfriend. Dreamlike days commence, as Xiaogao immerses himself in the sweetness of love, completely oblivious to his colleague Yoshizumi's (played by Hirofumi Arai) increasingly gloomy demeanor. It turns out that Akari was once Yoshizumi's lover; although they have broken up, Yoshizumi is still unwilling to let go of that relationship. Akari's unpredictable moods overwhelm Xiaogao, and furthermore, he discovers that, apart from him and Yoshizumi, Akari seems to have a third lover.
