Bleecker Street has acquired the global distribution rights for the black comedy film "The Art of Self-Defense," directed by Riley Stearns, starring Jesse Eisenberg, Imogen Poots, and Alessandro Nivola. Eisenberg plays an unlucky kid who is randomly attacked on the street and subsequently joins a judo training school to learn self-defense techniques from a charismatic and mysterious master (played by Nivola), uncovering a dark world filled with brotherhood, violence, and toxic masculinity.
